Question / Help Setting Suggestions for Local Record

My internet sucks, so I can't stream (3 down .5 up) but I want to record locally. Can someone suggest the best settings for me to use to get the best video without losing play performance? Thanks

1920x1080 Play resolution
AMD FX 8350
6MB RAM
EVGA GTX 580

Yeah I read that. I made a unique thread because I can't get it right for my specific system.

There's nothing about your setup that would require different settings than suggested in that guide. At least from anything you've posted so far.
