Setting Audio Default To Monitor and Output

I know this has been asked before but I cannot find an answer anywhere.
Is there a way that when adding new media sources it can be automatically set to a default "Monitor and Output"

If there is a way, would somebody mind sharing how?

I use OBS almost exclusively to set up scenes that I push out to my Daily Zoom Meeting (Live Podcast) and often I'll grab a video from HDD to stream out. It's pretty cumbersome on a live call having to set up audio for individual files. Is there a plug in or default setting somewhere?

I suspect it was created in response to my complaints about the exact same problem for the same application.
