Question / Help Selective Audio

Looking for a guide or plugin that allows you to pick specific audio sources from your PC to pass to the stream. You can use the audio mixer in Windows to mute sources you don't want to pass, such as system sounds, but that also prevents those sources from playing for the broadcaster.

Another example... You are broadcasting a game, but you also have a second screen up and you have CNN playing so you can keep an eye on the news while you are broadcasting. The problem is that you can't hear CNN without also passing CNN's audio to the stream.

Ideas?

I thought maybe the stereo mix recording option in Windows could be used, but that seemed tedious.

Heck, or even limit the broadcast audio to a specific window/game that is up, so the broadcaster can listen to music and not pass that audio to the stream.

The Windows audio system unfortunately does not give us too many options. We have to split up the programs to different audio devices ourself. This only works with software that lets us select the audio output device. If thats the case, see this:
