Question / Help Selecting sections of a screen

I want to use Skype or Google Hangout for multiple webcams on my stream. Is there a way to select only sections of a window? I can't seem to find how to select just the webcam's in the main window.

Use Software Capture (Window Mode) if using 0.472 or Window Capture if using test build version then select the window of Skype/Google Hangout. Check "Sub-Region" then adjust the region area over the partial window you want.

I do that, and it just selects the entire window.

You should be able to resize and move the white box that appears when you select a subregion. Are you not able to resize that box?

As far as I can tell, no I cannot. I see no box to re-size.

I'm on w/e the latest version of OBS is.

When I have a Window capture source, and I check the Sub-Region box, and say Select Region, I get this on the Window I selected:

Then I can drag around and rezise that white box however I want:

You're saying you can't do that?

When I tried that it appeared to just make the box go away. I will attempt this again when I get home from work and update you.

Try not to click outside the box and also enable aero if you're on win7/vista and currently have it disabled.
