Question / Help Screencasting with OBS, with text instructions

Is there any tutorial or explanation available on how one can record a screen-cast video, without audio, where the instructions can be provided via a bubble text (or whatever), i.e. looking somewhat professional and not captured in a notepad being typed upon in real-time.

I have searched the forum prior to posting, but didn't find any.

Not sure what you mean by "screen-cast video".

You can record locally (with or without audio), and then load the video into your favorite video editing suite to overlay "bubble text" (captions?).
OBS is broadcasting and recording software, it has no video editing capability. If you plan out your text beforehand and create it in individual image files, you can enable and disable layers for each image to pop up the text, but there will be no transitions for the captions (just on or off, no fade) and that would be a pretty massive amount of work for something that would be much better handled in Vegas, Premiere or similar, while you're already cutting out dead footage.

Professional results require appropriate tools for each step of the production flow.
