I want to record a tutorial video of my desktop using obs, but when I preview the stream from monitor capture, it's just a black screen. I noticed that when troubleshooting obs and searching on Google that almost ALL OBS tutorials are about streaming with obs. To be clear, I do NOT want to stream my desktop, I just want to record it locally. Window capture and Game capture works, I've been using it to record gameplay for a while no, but monitor capture just isn't working. Any suggestions?
