Question / Help Screen Tearing during Recording

Hey guys, I've been recording footage of a game called SPORE and I've been getting weird screen tearing during cutscenes and random parts of the game where loading takes place.

Hey guys, do you think it could be caused because the game is capped at 30fps and I set the video to record at 60?
