Hi, guys. I have a problem with my OBS. When I try to record a game (Mars: War Logs), the software does NOT see the game. I tried to use Game Record and this game doesnt shows din that list. I tried to refresh it, but still nothing. I tried with Monitor Capture and I can see when it starts the recording from my desktop, everything is ok, but when I try to record the game, obs shows me just the desktop and whatever I have opened on my desktop and my mouse from that game, but NOT the game. So I'm moving arround in this game, and obs shows me only my desktop. Why and what shall I do?

Btw, same problem with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but the only difference is that, in DE: HR, I can see me playing, but I can't see the menu before the game. Same problem.

Thank you.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

Well I know that DX: HR works, so it feels like there's something else going on here. Perhaps you could add a log file?

This is my log from Mars War Logs

This is Deus Ex log file (I think):

P.S. Almost the same problem with Borderlands 2, but here I see a black screen and I can hear the sound from the game.

This is because you're running a laptop, and you're having typical laptop capture issues due to mismatching adapters between OBS and the game. View the laptop sticky thread at the top of this forum for more information.

I changed those adapters and there is nothing different. Even more. Last time (few weeks ago) when I tried to record League of Legends it worked, now it doesn't. I can see my desktop on my record, while I'm in game.

P.s. Problem Solved. I had to reset all my settings from my videocard and then to set them again. Don't know why, but it worked.

Thank you for help.

Well the reason why I knew it was was because it said you were running OBS on the intel adapter, when your games are almost assuredly running on the nvidia. Was able to spot it right away as the problem. Really sorry about the mess with laptops, but laptop users really have to do it, it's unfortunately the only way to ensure a fast, efficient capture.
