I don't know what the issue is but on after 1st download and use it works amazing. After I close it and come to record again at a different time my framerate in game drops to about half of what it was. I've looked all over the forum and cant find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Post a logfile from the Help menu (just upload, then paste the link here). We really need it to see what's going on. Why it asks for one when a new thread is opened in the Q&H forum. :)

Hmm. Are you monitoring temperatures during recording?

Okay here it is with those settings. I didn't notice a difference.
Im pretty sure I figured it out. I had another recording software setup to run but it was not actually running. After uninstalling it I'm getting the initial good frame rate I first had when I initially downloaded OBS. I guess for some reason the other software didn't launch on the initial use. Thank you for your help though
