Question / Help Rotating Status Colors?

On the bottom right of the OBS client, there is a green square. Sometimes while I am streaming this green square starts rotating colors between red and yellow and green. During this time, I am NOT dropping any frames. Why are these colors rotating?

If you're not dropping any frames you can usually ignore it, though it typically means you're kind of getting close to potentially dropping frames.
