Question / Help Rotate a source/capture

Hello everyone, I am using OBS and am going to be hosting a large event at the arcade I work at next week. We will be live streaming a game from japan called Sound Voltex Gravity Wars however the screen orientation is vertical. Because of this reason I can not get it to be displayed properly on OBS. If there a plugin or something I am missing that would allow me to flip the source vertically?

Here is a video of the game for reference...

You will need to use the OBS Multiplatform rewrite. OBS Classic does not allow for rotation of sources, even 90 degrees. OBS-MP does, though it is lacking features from Classic.

That said, depending on the capture card you are using, it may include hardware source rotation (and be usable with Classic). Look into its setup crossbar to find out.

You may also be able to capture to AmaRec (2.20c is preferred, as 2.31 has audio/framerate warp issues) which has a rotate function in the Graph 2 setup, and then either screencap (or gamecap DWM on a Win7 machine) to intake from that, albeit possibly at a lower resolution (unless you set your display into portrait mode, which I believe can be picked up normally from a monitor cap or DWM gamecap). A bit of a hacky workaround, but if it's stupid and it works...

Looks like OBS MP would work Great. Tested with elgato just now to see if I could actually rotate and it does. I have a couple options in regards to capturing the screen so I will have to test later this week on the game to see what works best. Thank you for your input, it may have led me to exact solution I needed!
