Question / Help RivaTuner (RTSS) Capture Questions

Can someone help me get it so that I can capture my FPS in game using the Game Capture setting in OBS. All I want to do is capture the FPS from RivaTuner and be able to have OBS capture that as well. Can anyone help me with a step by step guide as to how to make this work.

you just have to setup a window capture and the region of the window. In this case riva tuner, then set it up in the same scene. There is not going to be a step by step guide as mostly its preference how you set it up. The scenes are layered so whatever is on top of the layer will show up in front of your game. The same concept with a webcam overlay.

the rivatuner overlay needs to be in tue same scene as the game and rivatuner will be above. Make sure both are enabled with a checkmark
 
Hey all thanks for helping me with this issue. I have not resolved this issue yet and I wanted to come back with some feedback as to what I have tried so far. Lets get the main points out first. The game needs to be in Full Screen and cant lag in OBS. Meaning when I use Full Screen in game and window capture, my obs FPS and in game FPS drop big time. Were talking more then half. When I use Game capture DWM it only works when the game is in full screen windowed mode which makes the game less smooth. Please can anyone help me get it so that OBS and BF4 work together to allow me to play the game in full screen mode and for obs to be able to keep its constant fps? Maybe it would help if someone that already has this working to tell me what they do. Thanks for the help all.

game capture should work in full or windowed. Window capture on rivatuner with region. Please turn on disable preview while encoding. Lastly post your log please
