Hi, dev! I am absolutely in love with your plugin! Sadly I'm kinda lost (and stumped lol) on how to make it run on Linux flatpak OBS (31.0.1). What is the correct path for dropping the plugin folder provided?

Hi Edwin-

Apologies for the delayed response. Currently Retro Effects does not have flatpak support. The good news is, over the next couple of weeks, I'll be adding it to all of my plugins, since I've finally figure out the process to make it happen.

Hey Finite,

I only recently started having an issue with Retro FX. Not sure if it's because I updated my nvidia driver, or a windows update, but without changing anything else (to the best of my knowledge) on first OBS launch after a full PC reset, when I have retro fx as a filter on a video file (like my cam border mp4 for example) it won't show in the preview window or stream. When I open the settings for that file, I can see the media file in question. If I turn the filter off, the media becomes visible. If I copy and paste the exact same instance of the plugin and delete the one it loaded with, all is well. If I close OBS and reopen, it also works.

Win 11

If there's any additional info I can go hunt down that would help, or if you already happen to know if it's something I messed up (completely possible haha) then I'd be happy to get that for you!

Thanks for all the hard work man!
Shred

P.S. As I wrote this up, there was another GPU driver update. Can't say if that will fix the problem, but if it does, I'll chime in again and let you know!

@FiniteSingularity I'm actually having this same issue. Windows 10, OBS 30.2.2, though I'm new to using this plugin. No NVIDIA driver update though there was a new Windows update I might rollback to double check. But essentially, if I change scenes, a source with the filter will show as black. If I Hide/Show the source, it will display the picture correctly; however all of this behavior is very random and inconsistent.

Looks like it might be an issue with having a Referenced Source used in multiple Scenes that has the Retro Filter enabled for it. Still working through and testing but that seems to be the common factor.

Just to confirm that does appear to be the issue. @Shredcase Make sure you aren't using any "Referenced" copies of the source in different scenes that is using the filter. Thats what will cause the issue.
