Question / Help Repeated music from media player and stopped stream.

I managed to successfully stream dota 2 full screen on twitch. However i got 2 problems. I searched the other thread but did not find any similar problem.

1. Repeated music from media player.

I enabled the desktop sound which will activate both my dota 2 game sound and media player music. However, after a certain period of time, while my media player music is still playing on my stream, the music repeats what the media player played therefore there's 2 different duration on the same song. How do i solve this.

2. Stopped game when i alt-tab.

At times i require to alt tab, however when i alt tab my entire game on stream freeze. May i ask how do i get the game to be still running when i alt-tab.

For #1, when you have a sound loop, it's almost always a configuration issue, or watching your own stream. I'm sort of confused by the problem and would probably have to see an example

For #2, if you are playing dota 2 in fullscreen mode, then capturing when alt-tabbed is not possible, because the game does not render while alt-tabbed. If you want it to continue to capture, I would recommend using borderless mode in dota 2 instead.

I muted my twitch when i did a test run for my dota 2. I only heard the looping of music on my stream on the twitch website when i unmute it. This is also when i alt-tab from my dota with my media player switched off. Therefore, from the stream(twitch) itself, i manage to hear a looping or an overlapping of music when i started streaming.

Could you post a log of this? Again this is almost assuredly some sort of configuration issue, as OBS does not output any sound to desktop unless you specifically state it to (and you can only do that in one place, in a device source, selecting "output sound to desktop")
