Remuxing Permission Denied

Hello, i'm trying to remux my video file from MKV to MP4 using the OBS remux feature thing, however everytime i try to do so it says "remuxing finished but file may be incomplete", i've tried to remux it using VLC, handbrake, all that stuff, but nothing seems to be working (it's a video over an hour long however it only remuxes 20-23 minutes then it stops).

i'm a complete newbie when it comes to any of this, how do i get the recording session log file? i don't think i'm using any external encoders

did you record onto a USB stick?
do you have file system permissions to add a new file? disk space for new (remux) file?

I did not record onto a USB stick, and i do have file system permissions to add a new file, also have disk space for new remux files

it's not that too, this remuxing permission denied thing ONLY happens with videos that are over an hour long and even then sometimes it remuxes perfectly with no problems whatsoever, it's not a constant
