Hey guys, this is LDClaudius. I would like to ask for help with reducing the background noise that is coming from my PC cooler. I tried to lower the audio volume, but I still hear a static noise of the cooler. Is there any way where I could eliminate most of the background noise?

Hey,
I can offer you my solution, explained in my video tutorial:

Did you download the commercial product( meaning that you payed for the subscription.)?

I tried working on eliminating the background my moving my "stinger" desktop at the bottom of the floor and I tweak the settings via at the microphone noise gate, but It made some improvements, but it wasn't that much. At lest my last live-stream went out just fine.

The solution JediAAk offered is good but costs money. Their are other option that are free. I use a program called VSTHost with free reaper vst's to do the same thing as JediAAK and I was completely free but the quality is a little bit lower but still a vast improvement.

Here's a video explaining the VSTHost and what not.

Is there any useful commercial products where it like: "OK I bought the full license of of the audio filter and it not a Subscription, I get to own it permanently." I dislike subscription models that I think it would be a waste of money to subscribe to a specific product every Yearly. But that just my preference.

As a free alternative if you don't or can't pay for Audition, you can use Audacity. I personally have never tried it, but know for sure that it has the exact same features for achieving this same effect I did with Audition.
If you don't work professionally with these products, it is really unwise to pay for them, of course. :)

I am sure you can find many and useful videos about Audacity and its noise canceling filters and settings.

Unfortunately as far as I can tell Audacity doesn't support real time effects like Adobe Audition or VSTHost. It is able to apply the effects only to the pre-recorded wave forms. If I'm wrong please correct me and tell me how cause I'd love to know how it's done.

Oh I forgot to mention a program called Reaper that does allow real time VST effects. Although it doesn't have a build in adaptive noise reduction like Adobe Audition there are same good free noise reduction VST that can be used with it. I happen to use the Reaper noise reduction plugin in VST called reafir. I has a noise subtraction feature built into that does a good job.
