I looked up everything I could to try to fix this problem I have done everything, uninstall and reinstall; software, drivers. I have changed all my settings, updated all my drivers, checked cords, re install OBS. I still can't get anything but a red screen

I think it's only usable with the 32bit version, though I'm not entirely sure. Try using the 32bit version, then remove and then re-add the source to see if the stream engine starts working or not.

Still doesn't work. From what I have seen from other people it automatically puts in the resolution and the FPS but for me I have to enter it manually I think that might have something to do with it, but I can't get it to go in automatically.

Actually yea, I've heard about this happening for some people. Try typing in 1280x720*, and then typing in 30 for the FPS, and then try it again.

*edit because I typed the wrong number

That is what I get when I do all of that.

Hm, so it doesn't have any resolution or FPS entries in there at all?

Well I know that it's working for some people, and then others are having the same issue you're having where there's no resolution/fps entries and it just won't work. I'll probably have to buy the device to make it work without stream engine in the newer version.

I actually don't quite know unfortunately. Could be firmware, or it could be drivers. I do know that it is working for some people so it feels like it could be a firmware version issue or something. I'm just not entirely sure though.
