red square problem

Hi, I have a problem with my obs when I add my video capture device, the image seems to go out of screen. I can't move it and adjust it, I just see a red square in the top left corner. I delete and add again, but nothing changes

Did you forget to make it public? I've seen that a lot.

Anyway, it's probably a zero-size frame because it's not getting any data. Once it gets something, it should expand to the actual size, relative to the canvas, and then you can work with it.

If nothing comes from the capture card, OBS doesn't know what size it is, so it starts with no size at all. Once it receives something, *then* it works like you expect.

This only happens the first time you add each thing. Once it's working and set the way you want it, it'll remember that.
