Question / Help Recordings Crashing

So ive tried this out on 2 different pcs and ive had the same problem on both. whenever i record something over an hour the video file crashes the moment i open it. if i record a 5 minute video it works like a charm. i hit stop recording when im done and it seems as if everything is fine but anytime i have a long video it turns to shit. it dosent matter what media player i use to open it either. PC specs: i7 3770k 16g ram gtx 750ti

Could you try using the 64bit version of VLC and see if it works there?

it dosent make a difference what media player im using, what bit im running the media player on, or what editing software i use. the files seem useless.
