I want to record mt games and I've already figured out the audio, but i don't want to stream, but to just record. I'm new to this and my computer has really high specs.
Its a Gateway FX
Windows 7 64 Bit Premium
Intel Core i7 Processor 870
1 TB Hard Drive
NVIDIA Ge Force GT330 2048 MB
8 GB DDR Memory

In broadcast settings you set the "mode" to "file output only".

Ive done that but the screen is black

You'll need to post a log file so I can see what you're doing. Did you add a source? Have you read the quick start guide on the guide forum? There's also a help file with the application.

Right click the sources box, go to add, then select the capture type you wish to use
