Recording without audio still has audio track

When all audio channels are disabled during recording (regular recording, no streaming), the video still has an audio track. Then in the editing software we have to remove the useless audio track all the time. It would be nice to have an option to force no audio track in the recording.

The video file format you are recording to contains video and audio. Then it seems logical to me that both are included in the recording, even when sound is silent at the moment. Or video is black. You could switch to a scene later that does contain sound; how would OBS Studio know that you do not have that intention?
 
If there is no sound source enabled OBS could guess I don't have audio. But well, the sound source may be enabled during recording and then not using an audio track would be bad. So ok for the current behavior, however I would like to force disabling of the audio track, is this possible ?
