I just got the Vorpx software that makes games compatible with the oculus rift. When trying to record game play it shuts off vorpx because the hook loads before vorpx. Is there any way around this? I've been using OBS for a while now and love it, I haven't had any problems with obs before this. I contacted Vorpx about this issue and was told obs must be hooking into the game before vorpx and there is nothing they can do to fix that. I have tried running the game in a window and doing window capture but that doesn't help either.

If you're going to use other hook software to get occulus rift to work with other games, I would advise not using game capture because they probably conflict. Run the game in windowed mode and use window capture.
EDIT: Oh. Used window capture, er, sorry. Admittedly not quite sure what to suggest, two hooks will cause these sort of conflicts. In the future I may try to adjust the hooks so that it can work better with other hooks, but it's just annoyingly difficult.
