recording/streaming multiple remote voices?

[very newbie question] A small (~6 people) amateur music group wants to rehearse and record from separate locations. Zoom has horrible behavior for this. Is there some way I can use obs to make this work? The musicians are very weak with computers, but I don't mind doing some work to configure/package a solution for them... I'm just not sure what technology to use. The group is one or two acoustic instruments, and the rest singers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OBS does not handle teleconferencing, at all. It is not a teleconferencing app.

To pull in guests/commentators/co-hosts, generally streamers will use one of the following teleconferencing apps:
-Skype (for Creators, has NDI feeds for each participant that the obs-ndi plugin can capture independently)
-Discord
-Google Meet
-Zoom

You could use NDI Have them use OBS with the NDI plugin to send you their stream then you with the NDI plugin take in those NDI sources to an OBS scene
