i'm not quite sure what you mean by these, is everything that's being bolded what i have to change?
 
Yeah, if you want to improve the quality of your recordings. None of the current settings are helping your cause.

Timing setting can be found in the device properties. Just uncheck the box.

so after changing everything you suggested, (other than the refresh rates as i don't really want to mess with my monitor's refresh rates) i'm still having the same issues but the quality seems to be worse and more blurry on words now
 
That's fairly important to get the timing corrected, especially if v-sync is enabled. 60, 120, 240 360 all good, 144, 165 not so much.

Post a log, I doubt I'll get to it so somebody else will need to help further. Been prepping all day for the incoming snow/ice cluster@#&*. Just about ready to start, should be fun but I doubt we'll have power when I wake up in the AM.
