Here is what I have already tried:
Despite all these attempts, the preview remains black. At certain points, the display selection list was also completely empty.

Hello OBS Support Team,
I'm experiencing a persistent screen capture issue with OBS Studio on my MacBook running macOS Tahoe.
My external Philips monitor works perfectly and displays my Mac desktop normally. However, OBS consistently shows a black preview.
Here is what I have already tried:
- Enabled OBS permissions in macOS Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording.
- Restarted OBS completely after changing permissions.
- Used the macOS Screen Capture source and selected my Philips external display.
- Deleted and recreated the capture sources several times.
- Tested Window Capture with Safari and other available windows.
- Checked OBS's application permissions through the OBS Studio menu.
Despite all these attempts, the preview remains black. At certain points, the display selection list was also completely empty.
Could you please help me identify the cause and find a solution?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards
