I've been trying to increase the quality of my recordings by changing the encoder and increasing CBS/other settings, but whenever I switch encoders to anything except (use stream encoder), the video written to disk is a blank, unplayable black screen. It still contains some metadata, including an accurate recording length, but there's nothing recorded and it refuses to play.
The attached log contains a bunch of renders with different encoders and file types. I've ensured my graphics drivers are updated.
I did get one encoder working, x264, but it refuses to record at a higher quality than the stream regardless of what values I give it.
