So I have been trying to record videos using OBS for quite sometime. I have streamed using OBS, as well as recorded Local content. My videos have never been SUPER clear or HD. So after doing some research i found this thread ( https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-classic-how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/ ) I input these settings into my Local recording settings and Boom, my videos have been coming out very nice. My only questions are as follows: While I record local (file output only) my kb/s have jumped to 30-50k.. So while im recording I look at the bottom right corner to see that im running at about 50k kb/s. I'm unaware if this is a good or bad thing. With that being said, after i finish recording a video, lets just say its 10 min for example.. the video comes out to about 17GB. Im wondering if this is just what it takes to record good videos in HD, or if I have some settings wrong somewhere. I thank anybody upfront who can help me with this issue. ( maybe its not even an issue at all )
PS. I do not know how to post Logs, so if somebody wishes to see a log, a step by step to at least get the log open would be cool.
