Question / Help Recording Issue.

My problem is that when I go to record it works fine for a max of three seconds. Although this stops the audio still goes through to twitch but all it shows is what was on my screen when it stopped recording.

I'm confused, could you be a bit more descriptive of what the problem is, and post a log file as well? I need more information, if possible.

So what im trying to say is that it records for 3 seconds then the visual display freezes, although the audio keeps going for as long as I am streaming. Log included this time.

You're trying to use Slower preset, but your computer can't handle it. Change it to Very Fast and try again.

Your GPU isn't very good either, depending on what game you're playing, you may have to lower your settings quite a bit. And/or change your preset to one even faster, hopefully Super Fast will work if Very Fast doesn't, because Ultra Fast is pretty bad quality.

14:02:46: Total frames encoded: 284, total frames duplicated: 183 (64.44%)
14:02:46: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 179 (63.03%)
14:02:46: Total frames rendered: 113, number of late frames: 1 (0.88%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)

You want all these percentages to be at 1% or less. If they aren't, you need to use a faster preset than before, or a smaller stream resolution (i.e. larger downscale), or a lower stream framerate.

Stream or record for at least five minutes of the highest action your game has to make sure your log file results are valid. In your current log file it only went for a few seconds, which may not be an accurate example of what your computer can do.

Also turn Constant Frame Rate (CFR) to Yes / On.

Is there someone telling people to use Slower preset on the internet somewhere? That's two of you with the same mistake. Start out with Very Fast and tweak from there. And turn CFR on, and if you're just recording to the hard drive, not streaming, use this guide: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2972 .

You guys are both using the "slower" preset. This is bad, very bad. Never go below "veryfast" unless you know what you're doing.

You should never use a different "x264 CPU preset" than "veryfast", unless your computer is slow.

xDartZHD - your computer only has one core. It's very poor for streaming. I would recommend using "superfast" or "ultrafast" instead, and downscaling.
