Question / Help Recording desktop and webcam?

Hi,
how is it possible to both record my desktop and a webcam stream?
I already set it up and in theory it works but when I do it, the webcam stream gets black for the other person and/or in the software itself (discord in my case) - still records it both on my pc/my videofile?

Or, other question (since I don't necessarily need the video of the webcam but the audio): Is it possible to just record the audio of the webcam and not video?

Video device drivers are usually exclusive-- you can use them in one program, but not two.

There is an OBS plugin that allows you to use your webcam in OBS, and then create a "virtual" webcam to be used in other software.
