Question / Help Recording comes out letterbox

I have video set to:

1920x1080 - with a 16x9 ratio

res downscale as none - but my video comes out letterboxed. even when I upload to youtube it comes out boxed

Please help a novice.

Tried with VLC yet?

I'm betting it's simply a case of the media player you're using being stupid about playback

Thanks. I don't know what vlc is - but when I uploaded the video to youtube - it still showed the same letterbox format

-also - in windows video player - it is also letterboxed

So right-click your game capture source - position/size - fit to screen.

Also, could you upload a clip of the video to dropbox or such and link it?
