Question / Help Recording causes USB devices to cut out

So I posted before about having an issue with my mic cutting out, but now the problem has spread to all of my USB devices: mouse, keyboard, etc.
The only difference between the mic and the other peripherals, is that the mouse and keyboard cut back in after a second.
So this is the problem in short: in the middle of recording, mouse and keyboard cut out (so if I'm typing anything, it'll just constantly press the last key I typed, looking like this: Over theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere), and my mouse will go off in the direction I was moving it.
This happens every couple of minutes or so, not sure what is causing it.

I'm impressed that you only have 1.14% duplicated frames encoding LoL at 720p30 on Medium preset with just an i7 860. How high is your overclock?

The USB problems sound like hardware is choking somewhere. I think you should lessen your preset to something like Faster or Very Fast, as a test, to see if the problems still occur.

It could also be a problem with your USB itself. As another test, you might try changing which ports USB devices are plugged in to, unplugging any USB devices that aren't being used while recording, change UBS hubs, etc.

I don't actually overclock haha.
I have tried all of the USB ports on my computer, including the direct motherboard ports. It could very well be an issue with my motherboard, as it is getting to be around 5 years old.
But I will try the different presets later today, I'll let you know how that works out for me.
