Hi guys :)
I was trying to record with my Elgato 720p at 60fps. I have an i5-4570 and I stream at 720p 30fps at 2500 bitrate and x264 set at faster without problem.
If I try to record locally at 60fps, OBS alerts me that I'm dropping frames while recording.
I've tried different settings, but without good results.
Which bitrate do you suggest me to use? Probably 30000kbps is to much for my CPU. I've tried also 8000kbps at "veryfast", but sometimes OBS drops frames.
The Elgato game software record 720p at 60fps with a bitrate of 24000kbps (that is what the software says) using the 35% of my CPU and the quality is amazing. How can I obtain the same result with OBS?
I want to record Call of Duty gameplay from my PS3 and PS4.
Thanks for your help,
Pierpa
