Question / Help Record/Stream too bright

Hi There,

I use OBS to record games and will eventually stream with it. The only think i'm noticing is that the whole capture is very bright.

I dont seem to edit the input brighness/gamma at all.

I dont use a capture card, i'm just running OBS as a game capture with webcam and a couple of window captures (tnotifier and chat)

Could anyone help at all?

Is it just the local recording that looks too bright, or does the live stream look that way as well? This type of problem is usually caused by custom gamma/brightness settings in your video card's control panel or in the media player being used.
 
That indicates a playback issue, not a problem with OBS. Check that your video drivers aren't overriding the player's own color/brightness settings. You can also try a different player like VLC or MPC-HC.
