Question / Help Recommended way of streaming PS1 game footage?

A while ago, I used to record Playstation 1 footage using a cheap Monoprice USB capture card. This gave out and since then I've just been getting by with emulators. Not long after I started doing that, I got into streaming and I've been trying to think of a way of being able to stream that PS1 footage using OBS. I'm still new to this so I'm looking just for something that will work with OBS and can take and stream the gameplay from the RCA cables for the original Playstation to OBS for streaming. Is there anything anyone would recommend? I'm in the UK so something available on the UK Amazon would be an amazing help.

Thanks!

So I found this forum thread and figured I would post my own question...but its a bit different. So I have a USB video grabber I got years ago that still works. And I have a PSone portable and want to use OBS not only to play games on my computer this way, but to record gameplay with. I'm at a loss for the settings I should use for this to get the best picture quality I can out of it (which is probably asking a lot since its PS1). Any suggestions?

Jon, opening your own new thread would probably have been better than necro-posting a thread from 2013. :)

Without knowing the USB device we can't help. "Best settings" is a very, very wide field. Best idea is to just try different settings, and do a number of local recordings to see what looks good.

For no-compromises best quality, look into grabbing an RGB cable, RGB upscaler (like the XRGB-mini) and HDMI capture card. As this will probably run about $750 all said and done, it's probably not something you'll want to go for unless you do a lot of retro-gaming.
