Question / Help Recommended Settings for Recording VBA?

Hi Everyone

I recently started up a YouTube Channel which I hope to make a big hit while also bending it around my free time as a hobby. I thought as a good idea would be to record games that I enjoy playing so that it's a better experience for me and maybe introduce a few old games that people might find enjoyable.

One such thing is my Visual Boy Advance emulator, to record GBA games like Final Fantasy 6, Advance Wars etc. I tried a test recording to see how the sound and visual appearance of the emulator games looked and sounded, but I noticed that the sound is slightly distorted from what I am hearing.

If any one of you have attempted to record the VBA emulator, do you have any tips for recommended settings to use when recording it?

Kind Regards

Make sure your mic, speakers, OBS and the emulator are using the same audio format. it will either be 44100Hz or 48000Hz.

Also, next time you need help, post the logfile from that session.

Thank you very much for mentioning the audio format, I didn't realise that was the setting I needed to use, and I had to match it to the emulator. I did another test recording doing what you said and the sound that came through was perfect!

My problem is now solved, thank you very much!
