My current set up is a MacBook Pro 15in from 2011 running Windows 7 with a Elgato Game Capture HD. I have a Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 for my current webcam.
The thing is, with my Elgato I have to delay my microphone and webcam by 1500ms. I know that the built-in FaceTime camera doesn't like the buffering on the video as it just speeds up until it hits normal time.
My LifeCam works fine, but it's 6 years old at this point and is showing it's age. I'm looking for a webcam under $60 that will allow me to do 1500ms buffering so that my face is synced with what is happening in game. I'd prefer 720p with good support for low light and bright light situations.
From what I know, the Logitech C920 has problems with buffering. I don't know about any other webcam so I'm looking for suggestions!
