Question / Help Recommendation for settings to stream DayZ?

Hi, I have no clue about what settings to use to get decent quality, aswell as decent FPS while streaming dayz.

These are my specs:

1TB Hard Drive 7200rpm
8GB DDR3 Memory (RAM)
Processor: AMD FX(tM)-6300 six-core processor 3.50ghz

Yeah, I don't know what else to put in as far as specs go, but this is my internet speed as of this second.

28.16 Mbps download and 10.69 Mbps upload

DayZ is tough, because there's something about it (the grass in particular) that x264 kinda poops on. But in general, you should be able to use http://obsproject.com/estimator with "high motion" to give you a good baseline.

As Dodgepong said, DayZ in general is just hard to stream because of the grass and trees. It makes x264 poop on itself and everything becomes pixelated.

Your best bet is to just run Very Fast @ 3500kbs bitrate. You can try Faster but you probably won't notice that big of a difference. It's just the way the game is. Trust me, i've been trying to find a secret formula since forever lol.
