Question / Help Recent update made the control panel very small

I recently updated OBS, and after doing so, the control panel (I guess that's what you could call it) at the bottom of the screen is extremely small. Everything works still, it's just that it's small to the point of being annoying. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like for me right now...

The size of the control panel at the bottom does not change whether I'm in full screen or windowed, and nothing changes when streaming either. Is there actually a way to resize this control panel at all?

Bummer :( I'll just have to deal with it I guess.

I did notice that you said "OBS 1" does not support DPI scaling. Is there another OBS that does support DPI scaling, or at the very least will make things easier for me to see and use my control panel at the bottom of the screen?

I downloaded the multiplatform version, and I have the exact same issue. It's just too small. Oh well though. Like I said before, I will just have to learn to live with this annoyance, until there is some sort of patch in the future that will fix this issue.

never mind, I found the DPI settings in the application's properties. I checked the disable DPI scaling on higher resolutions option, and I still have the same issue. Oh well. It just seems a bit weird to me, that I haven't run into anyone with this same issue as of yet. There's got to be others out there that have had this problem at some point or another.

yeah I thought the same thing, but lowering the resolution of my screen does not do anything at all. Everything is still scrunched up at the bottom of the application. It doesn't seem to matter if I have my resolution set to 3200 x1800, or 1920 x1080, or any other resolution for that matter. I really don't know why at all. I'm using OBS on a Razer Blade laptop 2014 model if that matters at all. Again though, everything functions correctly, it's just that as you can imagine, having a teeny tiny control panel is less than ideal.

OOOOOOH OBS! How I love and hate you!!!

Turn it off for the OS, not just for OBS. Search for "dpi" in the Control Panel, then on "set a custom scaling level" in the Display section.

I appreciate the suggestion, but setting a custom scaling level did not work either. I was able to get the text to fit properly inside of the control panel area, but that was only because the text was also super duper tiny. It's tiny to the point where I almost have to strain my eyes to read what it says. Which is actually even worse than before. I would ideally like to find a way to scale up the control panel area so that normal sized text can fit inside of it, and not have to scale down the actual text to fit within that control panel.
