I really need to know how to stream Xbox gameplay with a Skype party on my pc at the same time with everything in sync and I also want to hear game and Skype sound at the same time.

Please help direct me to a thread that has a solution or give me a solution on this thread.

Well, it's going to take a lot of fiddling with buffering settings and audio offset settings. Getting USB 2.0 capture devices to have the game feed and game audio in sync is a nightmare. Getting that in sync with any other audio is a near impossibility.

My honest recommendation is to sell/return the Elgato and get a proper internal capture card. It's just not worth the headache of trying to get all the various bits of audio in sync, especially since they will likely drift further out of sync over time.

Can you recommend any devices that would work to stream my console?

Also do you know how to delay desktop audio on obs?

Basically any internal PCI/PCI Express capture card would be fine. Avermedia has several that will work perfectly well for XBox.

Probably the best capture card, and the one I usually recommend these days is the XCapture-1. You have to have an Intel or Renesas USB 3.0 port in order to use it, and it's kind of pricey, but it's probably the best consumer level capture card out there. It's also probably overkill for what a lot of people use capture cards for, but it's just such a nice piece of hardware...

Yes, that is a solid capture card, and will pretty easily handle what you need it for.

I can't guarantee there will be *no* problems, as any number of things can go wrong with complicated pieces of hardware and software. I can promise you that you will avoid pretty much all of the headache of using a USB 2.0 capture card, however.
