Question / Help Really High bass

I wanted to get back to streaming today and so i did. I'm now having a problem with my audio. 1st problem was my audio was waaaaay to low. I managed to fix that somehow. Now i have this other problem.

Whenever i play games or hear music. My audio is just fine in my headset.

But when i pause it and go to my stream to listen to it's playback. It's like something added 50+ bass boost. It's really horrible.

I have kraken 7.1 sorround sound pro. I tried disabling bass boost but it didn't do nothing.

I tried a lot of different options but nothing seems to work. Idk what causes it.

reason being my desktop boost is set to 20 is because if it's not my stream can barely hear my games or music....

Fix the audio levels on your system instead of adding a 20x multiplier to the level in OBS.

If you can't adjust the volume levels on your system in such a way that you don't need a 20x boost then OBS is not your problem.

It's possible you're running the headset in surround mode and OBS is only picking up a couple of the really quiet channels; have you tried disabling surround and running everything in stereo/2.1 instead?

it's weird. I took my game that i'm currently playing and set it's sound channel to 2.0 now it's real sorround sound. Before i had it 7.1 there wasn't any sorround.

Is it also set to Stereo in Windows?

What if you also disable/close the Kraken software completely?

Nope not in stereo in windows. Let me try that. I.e how do i open that? in win 10?

and if i close my kraken software my headset literally screws up and start doing weird stuff

Control Panel > Audio > select your headset from the list and click on the Configure button at the bottom.

I've been having a f ton of audio issues today and i don't know what causes it. I tried stuff here and there and i came to the conclusion that it might be the headset of mine that's causing.

When i listen to the audio playback from my stream there's a lot of bass when shooting my weapons and it sounds really bad. On my end. I don't have a 2nd pair of headphones so i can't check it like that..

I'm currently testing the audio levels. If you could be so nice to go in the stream and listen and tell me in chat how it sounds it would be greatly appreciated. Pay attention to when i shoot my weapon as it's there the bass really kicks in.

I know it's kind of advertisement for my own channel but i'm really just trying to fix my audio here. And i don't know if it's even something you'd wanna watch or could bare to watch/listen 2.

I pretty much tried every single solution. Changing from 7.1 sorround sound to stereo etc. Removing bass boost.

So please help a fella out.
