Question / Help Randomly dropping frames when streaming.

So i've never changed anything or updated anything on my computer/obs yet I have encountered a problem when streaming. I am getting random dropped frames at various times while streaming. After about streaming for an hour I am receiving a good 5% dropped frames. I removed and re-added all of my sources and updated my nvidia gpu drivers like stated in other threads and still nothing.
Is there any reason why this should be happening?

Need the debug log for more information. But for the start, can you update to the latest version directly from the website here, do that first then also ensure your GPU drivers are up to date. Then see what's happening. If we need the debug logs you do it by running OBS like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe" Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe --verbose --log_unfiltered --unfiltered_log

Then run a stream for awhile and close OBS and then reopen and grab the last few logs and throw them up. AFTER you update to latest OBS 21.1.2 and your Nvidia Drivers. Thanks!

I think he just means run it from the folder. Not sure what the " --verbose --log_unfiltered --unfiltered_log" part means. Maybe I'm doing it wrong because I don't have a file named that in my obs folder lol

Yeah I’m not tech savvy at all. Came here cause I didn’t stream for one day and now I drop frames even before I start recording. Sucks. Hopefully he comes back on soon We need help hahaha^^^^
