so just recently ive noticed my obs has been dropping frames randomly.
im able to do everything just fine, and these dropped frames only started like 2 days ago?

i tried checking the ping of the twitch servers, and they were all like 100 pinged +

im just wondering if its me or the servers? it seems they have calmed down now but earlier around 1-4pm PST they are pinged at 100+

and my internet was very stable and i was getting like 5 ping in csgo .

Omg I have been having same problems and thought it was me.....

For 2 days now I have been dropping frames and before that for months I have had no problems whatsoever....

And it is not my internet because no online games are being effected and all of the speed tests I have done including testing my upload to the dallas server I am streaming to and it has come back perfect.

I have been stressing so hardcore trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

I think some of the Twitch ingest servers have been having some issues. Their twitter support was asking for feedback on people who have been disconnected the last couple days. You can try other servers to see if you get a better connection, but if that doesn't work you'll just have to lower bitrate until it stops. Nothing else you can really do, unfortunately.

Yah I just hope that is actually the issue. Cause besides getting a new modem....I can't tell if it is me or not. Wish there was a test I could run to find out.

But I can't find any besides all of the sites to test speed and the one site to test upload. Even went into my cmd to see if I was dropping packets but it says I am losing none.

Been running 3500/3500 for months no probs now randomly I will look at the server ping addon I have for OBS and it will spike from like 50 ms to like 9000 for dallas (caught it doing it one time when I bothered to minimize out to see).

Yeah, they might be having issues. There's been a group of people DDoS'ing game servers and stuff recently, and perhaps they've turned their attention to Twitch. Or maybe the seriously cold as #&^@ weather in the US has been having an affect on something, who knows. It could be any one of a hundred things, unfortunately.
