Very new user to OBS and I made a profile so I could start streaming some LoL.
PC Specs:
AMD FX-8350
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760
2x4 GB Kingston Black 1600mhz speed RAM

Internet Speed:
Comcast
15 Mbps down/10 Mbps up

Settings in OBS:
3000 kb/s bitrate
1000 kbit buffer speed
AAC Audio
128 bitrate
Streaming to Twitch at the proper server
CPU preset is at veryfast

Why am I experiencing frame drops down to 20 at random times while the majority of the time I am at 60. It is very annoying because it sometimes happens at critical points in the game.

My resolution questions are this. My monitor default resolution is 1680x1050 and I am streaming at the same resolution. Why are there black bars on my stream and how do I fix this problem? Please help me, I am new to OBS like I already said. Thanks in advanced!

I attached the log. Also how what resolution do I have to stream at to make the black bars disappear?

Any 16:9 resolution. But since your native resolution is 16:10, just ignoring the black bars is your most ideal option.

Also, u are getting some lagged frames. like 3-4% of them in every session. Might consider toning down your game or streaming settings...

No Dropped Frames but yes some lagged frames at 3-4% of the time like you said. I would rather lower my game settings but by how much?

3 - 4% isn't much; if the game in question has something like Physics going on, you could disable those. Major performance hit there.

Yeah I will just ignore it but also Twitch being the way it is only lets me stream at 1050+ resolution which is annoying for people with bad internet because they get stuttering :(

Kharay it is more like at random points it will dip to 20 frames or under making it very annoying to play at times.

You are in complete control of the resolution you stream at, not Twitch.

Unless I am a partner with Twitch I am not able to give resolution options to my viewers. But if I stream at 1680x1050 I get one resolution which is 1050+

If you change your resolution in OBS, the one resolution Twitch gives you will change.

If you are not a partner, the resolution Twitch shows on your stream is exactly what you send it.

See dodge's remark. You did not get my point; you are in control of the data you send to Twitch. So, if you are worried about viewers not being able to watch your 1050p, stream at a lower resolution. Problem solved. In fact, 2 problems solved. Because it will also free up quite a bit of CPU and GPU time and fix late frame issues.
