Question / Help QVS Helper crashes

Whenever I stream using QuickSync; my game crashes and gives the following error message: (My onboard GPU drivers are all up-to-date)



Code: 
OBS has encountered an unhandled exception and has terminated. If you are able to

problem being is Windows 7 QuickSync drivers tend to crash, and are not very good in general.

That being said, you need to select the Intel GPU from the Video tab of OBS in order to get Quicksync working properly. when NVENC is selected chose the nVidia card as well as when you use x264, chose the nvidia GPU.

Selecting Intel GPU on the video tab made it only stream a black screen.
 
You don't need to have the video adapter set to the Intel GPU to be able to use quicksync. Like dping said the windows 7 intel gpu drivers seem to be very unstable when using quicksync. On windows 8 they are much better.

So is that only required on Optimus GPUs then?
