Question / Help quicksync h.264 crashing when trying to stream/record

Hello there I got crash when trying to stream/recoridng with quicksync my specs
I5-8400 2.8 ghz
8 gb ram 3000 mhz
RX 550 2gb 128-bit
The thing is that my temperaturs are ok max 50 C cpu when trying to play Apex, and 70 the graphics card,
My cpu stays at 30% when streaming/recording x264, and the gpu 100% .

Does OBS crash as soon as you press record?
If so, it could be your drivers. I had the same issue and I found the solution here..

Yes when I press record, I already did my drivers, I heard something about quicksync newest drivers got a problem with obs but they fixed, I have all updateds up to date..

You need to rollback, not update. Intel introduced a bug that causes QuickSync to crash.

You need a version earlier than 25.20.100.6444.
