Hello,
I've been testing out performing lately in different games and recording it with OBS using the Intel Quick Sync option... but I find that my performance with Quick Sync on and off is quite similar, and I'm wondering if something is wrong causing it to not perform ideally?
Whether I have Quick Sync selected or not, my framerate in-game drops by about 10-15... is it normal for Quick Sync to cause a performance dip, too? Because I thought the whole point of it was to be able to record without taking a performance hit ^_^
I'm using an i5-4690K processor (it has Intel HD 4600), and I record at 1920x1080 w/ 30 FPS, target bitrate at 11000 with CBR, Quick Sync quality 1 (highest)
