Question / Help Quick sync Encoder

I am currently using the Quick Sync for my OBS system but here is my issue. When using the onboard for streaming i cannot use the window or game capture to show. World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Counterstrike, Day Z ect. will not show up in the window for me to stream. i have been working on getting this completely set up all day and i am stumped. I am running a 780 graphics card with an i7-4770k processor and have no problems with lag or anything else. it's just getting a black screen when i try to stream is the issue. I would like to use the onboard to stream using quick sync and i have it enabled and the 3rd screen found on my system.

your games are probably all using your gtx 780, and so the footage is only available on that card. meaning, that since quicksync is using the integrated graphics, nothing is showing up because of this. i believe Jim said that you can turn on compatibility mode in window capture and it may work.

tl;dr: can't use quicksync with nvidia cards, only intel graphics.

this is for laptops, but systems with dual video adapters can experience the same thing.

Double-click the "Window Capture" source and it will have a checkbox for "Compatibility Mode." I have to use this on my laptop with 2 different video adapters.

Alright that ended up giving me the window but now i have another issue. It shows just an image. No movement.
I can click and move it around on the monitor but the OBS system just shows a still.
