Question / Help Quick question about Twitch VODs + Obs studio

Hey

I just noticed that my twitch VODs (I usually like to watch them to see if the video was fine) are laggy when obs studio is open. Is this normal?

And if so, is it the same for when am I live?
 
close studio when watching vods or recordings, it may affect playback as it renders its preview all the time no matter what.
it wont affect streaming.
