Hey there guys. I've got a quick question.
I have an AVerMedia capture card, and to make it available in OBS I need to use their Stream Engine software. I noticed however that this is not necessary in XSplit. It can just address the device directly. Does anybody know how they do that? OBS can't, nor can AmaRecTV. I'm thinking XSplit has some hardcoded support or something.
Is this functionality that is ever going to be available in OBS(-Studio)? While not exactly the most important thing ever it would be nice to have to deal with one less AVerMedia program.
