I've been trying to help my friend to stream for quite some time now, but he can't be bothered to attempt to give it a serious go when it lags/buffers for his viewers all of the time.
PC
CPU: Intel® LGA1150 Core i7-4770K
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming 2GB PhysX
MB: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING, Socket-1150
RAM: Kingston DDR3 HyperX Red 1600MHz 16GB
Connection: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3490078096
Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/bordica
Now, the log will show that we've tried basically everything. It doesn't matter if he streams in 1080p, 720p, 480p, with a bitrate ranging from ~3500 down to ~400, it matters not much. The broadcast stutters, buffers and skips on a semi-regular basis.
He has tried with three seperate connections and two different PCs with basically the same results(One of them being a 100/100 at his friends house). It doesn't matter if he's streaming a complete black/empty scene, Super Mario Bros 1 or Diablo III, the end result is the same. He's been trying connecting to the server in Stockholm, London and Amsterdam without change.
While I on the other hand can stream my Continuum gameplay quite successfully with a 4G LTE connection. I should be the one with the problems, not Bordica.
So, do you guys have any thoughts on this. Is this completely Twitch's problem or is there something we can do about it?
